2023 will be a year where we reconnect even more with the surrounding community and region.
This month we hosted Assemblymember John McDonald and state and regional leaders in the video game industry for a “Digital Gaming Tax Credit Roundtable,” which received wide coverage in local and state media. The 518 gaming industry is poised for exponential growth and we have been a long-time strong supporter.
I also recently worked with a team of students from Tech Valley High School for their “Innovative Solutions Senior Seminar” project. We meet weekly for the last few months and the students did an amazing job working to help us create a concept for a new program here at the Garage geared towards high school students.
You’ll also note that we have an “Entrepreneur Meet-Up” scheduled for late February. These are only the beginning.
It’s a primary goal of mine that the Garage is a space where community can come together.
We’re very excited for what these events hold and hope you will join us for many of them. And, if you have any ideas for events you’d like to see at The Troy Innovation Garage, please let us know. We can’t wait to grow the community that Troy and the area’s leading creative people deserve.
Thanks,
